Himmel's is a growing organization with locations in New Orleans, Prairieville, Houston, and Nashville. We pride ourselves as door opening experts, not simply a construction material supplier. Our family owned and operated company is currently seeking a Field Service Manager to join our team at our Prairieville, LA Location!

This position is scheduled Monday -Thursday 7am - 4:30pm and Friday 7am - 3:30pm with occasional overtime required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct morning team meetings.
  • Submit project tickets to our Prairieville & New Orleans warehouse teams.
  • Communicate with customers regarding the status of their project(s).
  • Utilize the following programs: Smartsheet, Excel, Comsense, and Outlook.
  • Generate installation packets for upcoming onsite visits.
  • Communicate with lead technicians who oversee all installations, from pre-install to onsite installations.
  • Visit job sites as needed. These visits consist of quality checks, safety audits, etc.
  • Using information gathered from submitted sales orders, EOD (End of Day) reports, and shipping updates, compose daily maintenance schedules.
  • Submit finalized work orders to our Accounting Department for billing purposes.
  • Manage the maintenance team's tool & PPE inventory.
  • Schedule routine maintenance on assigned Himmel's fleet vehicles.
  • This position oversees maintenance for all LA-based projects.
Preferred
  • Familiar with Construction Industry
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook & Bluebeam.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team.
  • Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, positive and helpful demeanor and possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens.
