Job Description

The Client Services Medical Technologist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Medical Technologist, Client Services Associate, is required to respond to many customer questions regarding esoteric tests referred outside the CDH laboratory. The Client Services Associate is required to identify, investigate, and correct erroneous laboratory orders and procedures. This person will be responsible to find creative solutions for preventing and solving system problems. This position requires a thorough understanding of the hospital and reference lab computer systems, the ability to work and think independently, and a thorough understanding of laboratory services and high complexity testing.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1 year of experience or recent graduate
  • Medical Technologist certification, MT(ASCP), or equivalent with a Bachelor's Degree in clinical laboratory science

Preferred:

  • 2 years of experience
