Quad is currently seeking a Full-time Clamp Truck Operator for our Sussex, WI plant. The Clamp Truck Operator transports the roll paper within the plant ensuring presses have the necessary amount of paper, unloads and inspects incoming paper and loads outgoing paper. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Some responsibilities of the position are as follows: * Completes the daily maintenance checklist at shift start. * Moves roll paper to presses, ensuring correct type and size of paper per schedule. * Removes from presses and places back in inventory unused roll paper upon completion of jobs. * Unloads trucks and rail cars of roll paper, entering accurately into inventory and placing in appropriate bays for storage. * Checks and ensures bar code labels are correct for paper received. * Any roll paper received that is defective is properly reported and stored separately as necessary. * Loads trucks and rail cars with roll paper being transferred to other facilities. * Completes all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. * Works closely with the press room crews to ensure their paper needs are being met. * Adheres to all safety policies, procedures, and requirements. Qualifications The position requires the ability to lift 10-20 pounds continuously, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects. The ability to work 12 hours on the night shift (7pm-7am). Must be able to work overtime as needed. The successful candidate must be dependable, responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision, and be a team player in a fast paced, detail-oriented production environment. This position requires good math, verbal and written skills as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize job needs. Computer skills and prior forklift experience are preferred. Shift Information * 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.) - manager will discuss available hours * first two weeks of training would be on day shift (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.)
