Certified Professional Coding Supervisor

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Coding Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the coding operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in medical coding processes.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead a team of coders to ensure accurate and timely coding of medical records
- Develop and implement coding policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulations
- Conduct regular audits to monitor coding accuracy and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve coding-related issues
- Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines and regulations
- Provide training and support to coding staff on new procedures or updates

Skills:

Required:
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification
- Proven experience in medical coding and billing- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with previous supervisory experience in the field

- Senior level Inpatient and/or Outpatient coding experience

- Ability to analyze data and identify trends

Preferred:
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations
