* Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task

Essential Functions:
* Accurately and efficiently processes new or refill prescriptions.
* Strong background in data entry
* ability to process prescriptions as a primary task
* May investigate unpaid claims and troubleshoot any issues that might arise.
* Ensures all insurance information has been accurately entered.
* May communicate with physician’s office to ensure continuous patient care.
* Investigates previously approved prescriptions that indicate rejected status.
* Works closely with team members outside of department to ensure the utmost in patient care.
* May complete patient benefit verification
