Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

A Nursing Assistant/CNA provides direct patient care including:

  • Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
  • Personal care (feeding, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene)
  • Infection control (cleaning and sanitizing patient surfaces)
  • Transportation of patients to and from meals and activities

Philip Health Services provides complete training and orientation for Nursing Assistants to become Certified (CNA) in the state of South Dakota. Full-time shifts run 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am. Some 12-hour shifts available. Some weekends and holidays will be required. You will get to know each one of your RN and CNA colleagues and form deep, mutually respectful working relationships with the team.
