There is a strong preference for this role to be onsite in Everett, WA. However, a hybrid schedule (typically 3-4 days in the office) may be considered for an ideal candidate. This role may be eligible for relocation.

What You Will Do:
  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead the procurement activities for new product introductions, ensuring alignment with commodity strategies and program objectives.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure key program goals and deliverables are consistently met.
  • Performance Monitoring : Track key metrics and monitor supplier milestones critical to meeting program objectives. Review performance against cost targets and proactively communicate any potential impacts.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify supplier risks and develop corrective action plans to address any issues that could affect program success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Program, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to eliminate roadblocks and achieve business goals.
  • Process Improvement : Lead and participate in special projects to develop and refine processes, ensuring effective measurement and continuous improvement. Work closely with Supply Chain Management counterparts to identify opportunities for team performance improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Clear Communication: Establish and maintain open channels of communication between the Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Program teams, removing obstacles and ensuring alignment with business goals. Explain policies, practices, and procedures, and play a key role in influencing their development.
  • Travel Requirements: Be prepared to travel up to 25% to support program and team needs.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Supplier relationship management experience
  • Sourcing and negotiations experience
  • Experience supporting programs with new product introductions
  • Technical aptitude with ability to understand complex manufacturing processes
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge
  • Process Improvement experience
  • Aerospace Industry experience
  • Experience sourcing composites, cable assemblies, lighting, hardware, cut and sew, chemicals, or plastic extrusions and experience sourcing within Southeast Asia preferred.

Employee Referral Eligible
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
