Position Type: Full time contract
Duration: 6+ months
SHIFTS : 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST
As a Guidance Nav & Control Engr 5 you will
Position Responsibilities:
Systems Safety, Development Assurance, and Function Engineering position who primarily supports the development of certification artifacts and analyses for the System Safety Analysis document including: Functional Hazard Assessment, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis. System level requirements management, conducting systems safety analyses, and supporting development of certification and development assurance deliverables for multiple airplane programs. Develops requirement management processes and tools. Investigates actions necessary for requirements definition and flow-down improvement. Performs and documents design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems models and tools and guides less experienced engineers in performance of the designs. Develops certification criteria and methods with regulatory agencies. Assures cost, time effective, creative solutions and disposition of issues to assure customer satisfaction.
Required skills/qualifications:
1. 7-10 years systems safety analysis
2. 7-10 years' experience in flight controls
Preferred skills/qualifications:
1. CAFTA experience
Pay Range : $85.00 to $95.00 per hour.
