Account Executive - Sales- Cannabis

Position Summary: The Account Executive is responsible for driving sales and wholesale distribution of Green Meadows’ cannabis products throughout Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of sales experience, with 2+ years of knowledge and experience of the Cannabis industry, ideally within the Massachusetts market. We are looking for an individual that is professional and accountable, with a strong network of contacts and connections, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. The focus of this role is to open new accounts, but also building relationships and expanding presence within existing accounts. Responsibilities: Conducting frequent outreach and maintaining active sales relationships with all assigned accounts Prospecting within assigned accounts for new sales & business development opportunities Maintaining accurate and updated records within Green Meadows’ CRM system Achieve and surpass stated sales quotas, and keep record of sales outreach efforts and other key metrics Build positive B2B relationships with prospective and existing accounts across the state Plan and conduct staff education sessions for partner accounts Participate in new product launches and sales activation events Develop relationships with key decision makers and key industry personnel Work directly with Green Meadows Marketing team to develop B2B initiatives and messaging to attract new business Develop a strong working relationship with the Fulfillment team to ensure accounts receive exceptional service Track customer retention, re-order rates and order value to determine strategy modifications Monitor competitive products and pricing in the market Ensure sales operations are compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal workplace regulations Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community Embody the culture and values of Green Meadows, and fully support the company’s purpose, goal, and key objectives JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Preferred Education: We are looking for a strong professional with a background in developing new business A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the cannabis industry A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales roles, ideally within the cannabis industry Minimum Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the cannabis industry in Sales Preferred Experience: Strong understanding of brand management in the cannabis industry Knowledge of the science of cannabis Strong sense of urgency and business acumen Exceptionally strong relationship building experience and developing new business Strong attention to detail along with punctuality and impeccable communication skills Inherently sound values and problem resolution skills Green Meadows is committed to a diverse workforce.
