Where is the work:

This position has been designated as Remote and work will be performed from any of the Trane Office Locations in Great Lakes (OH, MI, and IN).

This role has been designated by the company as Safety Sensitive.

Job Summary:

Trane Technologies is hiring a Regional Controls and Digital Leader for the Great Lakes Region of our commercial HVAC business.

  • This role will work with key stakeholders across IN, OH, and MI to weave digital best practices into the business based on Trane Technologies’ digital strategy.

  • Serves as a change leader, incorporating industry benchmarks and best practices to drive controls and digital innovation for the region.

  • Ensures internals sales teams and customers have a clear understanding of Trane’s controls and digital offerings.

  • Works closely with other operations leaders to execute the digital strategy for our customers.

  • Serves as a trusted advisor to business partners by demonstrating understanding of Trane Technologies’ digital strategies and staying abreast of latest digital trends.

What you will do:

  • Bring the enterprise digital vision for Great Lakes Region to life through:

o Determining growth strategy by leveraging Digital Maturity Path to assess strengths and weaknesses of region

o Building plan for leading an operations team through effective execution of controls and digital service offerings

o collaborating with sales leaders and account managers to drive growth in controls and digital sales

o Interfacing with customers to understand their desired outcomes

o Enabling the sales teams to be more digitally-savvy

o Making digital services an ingrained part of all sales cycles

What you will bring:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of services and technology experience.

  • Strong customer skills and proven experience with building and maintaining relationships.

  • Demonstrated experience in building a strategy and operationalizing to deliver strong set of results

  • Strong communications skills and a demonstrated ability to gather facts and deliver succinct, sometimes complex, messages to business stakeholders and executives

  • Highly organized with a high attention to detail. Experience prioritizing multiple, often competing, priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate across functions within the region.

  • Some travel expected, approximately 25%; regular travel within region.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to:

  • DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $142,800 - $189,200. Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
