Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a reputable nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the Naples, FL community. As the CFO, you will play a crucial role in guiding our financial strategy, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard the organization's assets. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Prepare and present financial reports to the board, executive leadership, and relevant committees. Identify and assess financial risks, proposing and implementing mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting. Manage cash flow, investments, and financial resources efficiently. Implement strategies to optimize working capital and liquidity. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements. Oversee financial aspects of grant applications, reporting, and compliance. Collaborate with program managers to align financial strategies with grant requirements. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Provide training and support to staff on financial matters. Collaborate with external stakeholders, donors, and partners on financial matters. Participate in fundraising activities and contribute to donor relations.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred. Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial management role within the nonprofit sector. Strong understanding of nonprofit financial regulations and compliance. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience working with diverse funding sources, including grants and donations. Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
