The Market Manager will direct the operations of a full service retail location, and will set the standard for a positive branch environment and excellent member service by providing effective leadership and coaching to the branch team.
Functions and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the branch. Assigns and directs work of retail and platform team within the branch. Ensures effective communication with team, and serves as a conduit to management with member/employee issues, accolades, and concerns. Establishes expectations, communicates goals with the branch team, and provides feedback to ensure metrics are reached.
  • As the principal loan officer of the branch, confers with members and provides recommendations and guidance related to lending needs. Analyzes loan requests and makes credit decisions based on established consumer lending guidelines. Communicates lending decisions with members.
  • Oversees and ensures delivery of excellent member service, consistent with the Pillars of Alabama ONE.
  • Oversees the general maintenance and security of the branch location. Ensures proper control and accountability of cash, and adherence to applicable credit union policies and procedures.
  • Represents branch and Alabama ONE in civic and community activities. Partners with assigned Select Employee Group (SEG) to attract business and increase membership.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Minimum of three to five years of related experience to include leadership and/or supervisory experience. Ability to effectively lead and communicate with TEAM. Must display positive attitude as well as a pleasant, professional demeanor. Must demonstrate ability to work toward and attain established goals.
