Howard Memorial Hospital is in need of an Informational Technology Technician. This role is responsible for providing field service and helpdesk support to Howard Memorial employees and physicians. The position requires a broad knowledge of computer systems, printers, telephones, hardware, and software. This is a Monday through Friday, full-time position with on-call rotations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance in person, over the phone, email, and remote support.
  • Maintain hospital-owned computers, peripheral equipment, telephones, networks, and related equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers and walk the customer through the problem-solving process
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years in Information Technology preferred
  • A+ or other certifications
  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
