Business Systems Analyst (Contractor) - Enterprise Business Solutions IS&T for Apple TV+ Studio Production & Post Production

Their development aligns with ATV+ business needs and technology. They will maintain a strong awareness of the processes and systems utilized by all Apple TV+ lines of business, with a keen eye for gaps in the pipeline and the innovative mindset to fill them. They will initiate and maintain collaboration with business stakeholders to understand and document their needs as it relates to DAM, breaking these requirements down into user stories for software developers.
 

Job Description:

  • Reporting to the Manager Software Engineering, this role is responsible for supporting portfolio technology.
  • The Business Systems Analyst documents process and technology requirements and assists in all aspects of delivering ongoing support and special projects as needed.
  • The Business Systems Analyst will possess strong analytical, documentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to receive input from product owners and translate into actionable requirements.
  • The Business System Analyst help manage the technical aspects from the Product team delivery.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Document and track business, application, and technical issues and prioritize based on metrics and risk assessment
  • Ability to troubleshoot the call center platform, diagnose the issue across multiple platforms or technology, and provide recommendations
  • Self-starter with the knack to troubleshoot and to learn multiple technology platforms and communications engines.
  • Perform day to day User Acceptance testing for execution of Guest Experience Manager UAT to Support Client Customer Care program
  • Review and assess business requirements and technical specifications in order to build test plans to support the team and business
  • Multitask and prioritize ongoing team and application needs as multiple projects arise that may request testing efforts or analysis at the same time.
  • Document ongoing business, application, or technical issues and prioritize
  • Provide input into roadmap and release management discussions
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
