WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS

The Business Analyst position is responsible for leading and optimizing business routines. The position is a key contributor for the business unit to achieve high performance levels by enhancing internal business planning, and leveraging tools like Power BI for efficient, data-driven decision-making. This role supports strategic market intelligence, pricing strategies, coordinates project schedules, leads regular business meetings, and ensures effective inventory management in collaboration with Supply Chain and Controllership.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

· Financial Planning and Analysis including developing and maintaining financial models specifically designed to support sales objectives, including detailed profitability analysis and scenario planning.

· Provide analytical support for sales campaigns, pricing decisions, and customer profitability assessments. Lead the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets, ensuring they align with corporate financial goals, market dynamics and offer actional insights for improving sales effectiveness.

· KPI design, implementation for monitoring and evaluating performance of the business units and segments. Creating dynamic and insightful dashboards in Power BI to support real-time decision-making.

· Pricing Strategy and Management including developing and oversight of the pricing strategy, suggesting price adjustments based on inventory levels and market demand.

· Monitor global commodity market trends to anticipate and respond to material price fluctuations and adjust pricing strategies to reflect market conditions and budget expectations.

· Develop pricing models that incorporate various scenarios based on raw material costs and market demands.

· Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business goals including participating in the development and execution of inventory reduction campaigns, coordinating with sales and marketing to align promotional activities with excess stock reduction.

· Compile and analyze information on market trends, competitor analysis, customer volumes, imports, and supply-demand dynamics in the Americas region.

· Lead the digitalization of business processes, transitioning from manual to automated systems (Power BI), creating straightforward and impactful reports to guide decision-making across the team.

· Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Controllership departments to manage inventory levels effectively, focusing on reducing transit, low-turnover, and excess stock issues, including coordinating cross-departmental meetings to discuss inventory status, forecast demand, and adjust procurement and distribution strategies accordingly. Work closely with financial controllers to understand the cash flow implications of inventory decisions, including providing regular reports and dashboards that give a comprehensive view of inventory health, including aging, turnover rates, and valuation, to assist in proactive cash flow management.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, accounting or related field, required.

· 3-7 years of professional experience in business analysis, financial planning, Desired: market intelligence, project management.

· Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP and Power BI, exceptional organizational abilities, and effective leadership and communication skills.

· Languages: Proficiency in English required. Knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.

· Self-driven, analytical, and organized.

· Results oriented and execution driven.

· Proficiency in CRM, data analysis tools, and MS Office suite, SAP, EMMA.

· Independent worker with the ability to collaborate across functions.
