REPORTS TO: FOH Leads, Assistant Manager and General Manager

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None

POSITION STATUS: This is a part-time position.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a busser your main objective and priority is to assist in providing guests with a complete full-service guest experience by maintaining cleanliness and stock of table sections, floors, beverage stations, and the general areas of the restaurant. Other responsibilities, duties, and responsibilities are as follows:


DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
  • Pre-bus tables as needed removing glassware and dishes that are no longer in use.
  • Clear tables after guest departure using a bus bucket. Separate dishes into bucket placing all silverware in the silverware compartment, all glassware safely secured after plates have been stacked neatly. Take tableware to the dish room, scrape plates and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
  • Sanitize all todays from top-to-bottom. Cleaning is essential to the guest satisfaction and begins at the tabletop, proceeds to condiments, booth seats, chairs and ends on the floor under the table.
  • Resetting and maintaining condiments.
  • Assist servers in general pick-up of all floors, wait stations, and dish area.
  • Inspect assigned restroom every 20 minutes and clean as needed.
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as needed.
  • Communicate with other front of the house team members to ensure efficient seating, table utilization and guest service.
  • Thank guests as they are leaving.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor in keeping all areas neat and ordered. Restock, removal of trash, clean and maintenance,

Education and experience :

  • No experience required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Professional Requirements:

  • Pleasant and polite manner.
  • Strong guest service skills with a passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to coordinate, multitask and remain composed.

Physical Settings and Schedule:

  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Be able to stand position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift up to 30lbs.
