Job Summary:

The Building Facilities IT Manager is responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and technology solutions that support the bank's facilities operations. This role ensures the seamless integration and functionality of building management systems, security systems, and other facility-related technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in IT and facilities management, along with excellent leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, coordination, and maintenance of IT systems, security and camera systems, telephone systems, bank equipment, circuits, and networks within the bank's facilities.
  • Ensure optimal performance of building management systems, including HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
  • Manage the integration of security systems, including badge/building access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems.
  • Lead IT projects related to facilities management, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to implement and upgrade facility technologies.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for facility-related IT systems.
  • Respond to and resolve IT incidents and service requests related to building facilities.
  • Conduct regular system audits and maintenance to ensure reliability and security.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies for IT systems and data security.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols for all facility-related IT systems.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Facilities Management team to identify technology needs and solutions.
  • Work with the IT department to align facility technologies with overall IT strategy and policies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on projects and system performance.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget for facilities management.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on system performance, project status, and budget utilization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, focusing on facilities or building management systems.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and systems administration.
  • Experience with building management systems, security systems, and IoT devices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or related facilities management certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Availability for on-call support and emergency response as needed.
  • Must be able to travel within markets and possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.
