Summary/Objective
The branch manager position is responsible for managing and overseeing branch personnel, supervising branch operations, performing lending duties, and ensuring efficient operations on a daytoday basis. The branch manager will also work to improve productivity and streamline branch activities to maximize results and achieve peak performance levels. The branch manager reports to the Chief Operations Officer and also reports to the Market President of Ouachita Parish for lending responsibilities and support.

Organizing and executing training programs for branch personnel
Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback and coaching as needed
Recognizing employee achievements and encouraging excellence in the work environment
Developing and implementing sales plans
Conducting regular sales and operations meetings
Briefing employees on current sales goals, promotions, and other relevant information
Organizing marketing activities and events for the branch
Performing as a consumer and commercial lender
Increasing brand awareness for the company within the community
Interacting with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback
Resolving customer problems as needed
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations for the industry within your state
Assessing market conditions and identifying opportunities
Managing budgets, allocating branch funds, and defining financial objectives
Coordinating with other branches to share knowledge, plan promotional activities, or achieve goals

Supervisory Responsibility
This is an exempt position, not eligible for overtime. The branch manager is responsible for the supervision of their locations operational, retail, and lending staff members.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, email, electronic calendars, scanning devices, calculators, and spreadsheets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. This job may also require the employee to frequently lift at least 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a fulltime position. Days and hours of work are normally Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position may require occasional evening and weekend work as needed.

Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some outofarea and overnight travel may be expected.

Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in customer contact and problem resolution, management experience, ability to set and achieve goals, knowledge of industry rules and regulations, resultsdriven attitude, leadership skills, strong customer service skills, written and oral communication skills, human resource management skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, computer skills, advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related field OR minimum 5 years banking experience.

Minimum
Equivalent combinations of experience, training and/or education approved by Human Resources
