Central State Bank has an immediate opening for a Branch Manager for our Swisher/Walford market. If you enjoy working with the public and building relationships with members of the community, Central State Bank wants you on our team! You'll become familiar with our lending approach and products and use that knowledge, along with a client-focused, positive attitude to create relationships that will last as our clients and Central State Bank continue to grow.

What You'll be Doing

  • Community Banking . You'll commit to a holistic understanding of community banking and our products and services so you can guide customers through the process efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Management . You'll prioritize maintaining and forming strong relationships with customers with communication that is convenient and appropriate for them. You'll evaluate how Central State Bank can support each customer by developing unique and individualized financing solutions.
  • Sales and Business Development . You'll engage existing and prospective customers to learn about their retail banking needs. You'll expand the scope of Central State Bank's relationship with its customers by educating them on all that Central State Bank has to offer.
  • Leadership. You'll provide leadership to the teller teams and encourage growth and connection to aid in providing outstanding customer service.
  • Facilities Management. You'll ensure the physical facilities of the branch locations are a positive reflection of the Central State Bank standards.

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Minimum 5 years outside sales or business development experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail banking experience preferred.
  • Community banking experience and/or credit analyst training/experience are a plus.
