If you're ready to make an impact and be recognized for your expertise, apply now and become a key player in their success story!<br><br><strong>Role & Responsibility:</strong><br><br><strong>Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success</strong><br><br><ul><li>Manage all financial management and reporting functions including, but not limited to, general accounting, payroll, cash management. Enter all invoices and bills as needed into QuickBooks, </li><li>Daily monitoring and management of cash accounts across several accounts, ensuring adequate reserve levels are kept for upcoming expenses.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for presentation to senior management to help in forecasting future obligations.</li><li>Aid in the development of creating a stronger financial control structure by designing, socializing, and formalizing policies and procedures meant to improve overall financial controls of the firm. </li><li>Assist outside auditors with preparation of applicable federal, state, and local tax returns, providing necessary documentation and explanations of revenue, expenses, and balance sheet items as requested from outside auditors.</li><li>Monitor and keep accurate and timely records of invoices/accounts receivable, reconciling expected vs. received income. Monitor and resolve overdue invoices to minimize aged receivables.</li><li>Monitor and maintain bills/accounts payable, ensuring all accounts are kept current. Obtain approval from various department heads or the owner for certain classifications of bills (legal, IT, insurance, outside accounting firms, etc.). Properly categorize all bills to their proper accounts.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly financial reporting and analysis against budget. </li><li>Monitor and keep adequate records of all monthly regulatory reporting requirements and compliance with standards established by regulatory agencies.</li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of various predictive models designed to assist in planning for future operations across several products.</li><li>Track numerous insurance policies, monitor premiums, and ensure all policies stay in good standing with suitable coverage for unforeseen events. </li></ul><br><strong>Skills & Experience:</strong><br><br><strong>Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive</strong><br><br><ul><li>Degree in Accounting/Business preferred.</li><li>Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and QuickBooks Desktop or QB Online.</li><li>Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word</li><li>Previous administrative experience in office support, HR/payroll, and bookkeeping responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with Paychex payroll systems.</li><li>Detail-oriented and analytical mindset willing to meet tight deadlines and no tolerance for inaccurate or incomplete records.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to team with others on special projects, as well as working independently without need for considerable supervision. </li><li>Fast learner with a willingness to volunteer ideas to improve day-to-day operations. </li><li>High level of discretion, given the sensitivity and confidentiality of the information the candidate will be exposed to.</li><li>Experience in structured finance and mortgage industries a plus.</li></ul>
