Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate clients' communication abilities in both English and Spanish.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' speech, language, and communication goals using evidence-based practices.
- Provide therapy services to clients with various communication disorders, including articulation, language delays, fluency disorders, and pragmatic language difficulties.
- Offer support and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance communication skills and promote functional communication in daily activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate care and optimize clients' outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and [Specify second language].
- Current Illinois license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with diverse populations and across various settings is preferred.
