Position Overview
BHT Supervisors are responsible for providing supervision to the residential Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), ensuring that a therapeutic and recovery-oriented milieu is maintained. The BHT Supervisor provides supervision, coaching, and role specific training to BHTs, consistent with the Accanto clinical philosophy and programming models, as well as to general standards of professional behavior. The BHT Supervisor provides staff performance feedback, including annual performance evaluations, and supports ongoing skill development.
Schedule

  • 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
  • Tues-Saturday 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm
  • 4 weekend shifts a month. Working opposite of BHT Manager to provide more site coverage.
How BHT Supervisor’s Empower Recovery
  • Monitors and ensures the quality of services delivered by the BHT including but not limited to groups, meal support, and milieu management
  • Provides supervision, training, and support to new and existing staff and encourages employee engagement, accountability, and ongoing development
  • Participates in treatment team, mini team, morning huddle and other meetings as assigned
  • Participates in provision of meal support to clients during meals and meal outings, leads milieu activities, transports clients and supervises patient outings, and provides skills coaching when appropriate
  • Creates or oversees creation of BHT schedules, manages PTO and other requests, ensuring appropriate coverage is maintained
  • Provides BHT backup coverage as needed

Qualifications
  • Qualified BA or BS degree in psychology, social work or related health field required or relevant experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive.
