This candidate will work part time as a BCBA.</b></p><p> </p><p><b>POSITION PURPOSE</b></p><p>The Behavior Analyst is responsible for analyzing the socially significant problematic behaviors, the controlling and<br />contributing contingencies and variables, and skill deficits for their client. The Behavior Analyst practices in<br />accordance with the requirements of their certifying board (BACB) and the State of Missouri. The Behavior Analyst<br />will also work collaboratively with other departments across the company to work within the scope of the team to<br />help clients achieve their treatment goals.</p><p><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - JOB SPECIFIC</b></p><p>* Exercise independent judgement and take actions to ensure that risks to clients are minimized.<br />* Produce the results of a thorough analysis of behavior in a competently written and acceptable format<br />(Functional Behavioral Assessment).<br />* Treats socially significant problematic behavior and/or skill deficits using acceptable behavior analytic<br />practices as reported in literature in an acceptable format (Behavior Treatment Plan).<br />* Collects and thoroughly analyzes behavioral data for all clients and produces graphical representation of the<br />client's behaviors in a professional and complete format.<br />* Confers with the client's interdisciplinary team to assess the client's behavior, monitor client progress, and<br />adjust the treatment plan as needed.<br />* Collaborative work includes, but not limited to, working directly with clients, training staff, parents, and<br />caregivers, as well as training Compass Health Network team members on behavioral analytic curriculum<br />and concepts to help team members to perform their functions in support of a client's success.<br />* Clearly and thoroughly documents services with clients in the client's electronic record in a timely manner.<br />* Manages approved and authorized services so that all services are offered within an authorized timeline and<br />within the authorized units/CPT codes.<br />* Understands and achieves all contractual and regulatory requirements associated with service delivery.<br />* Works independently and manages time and productivity to meet requirements.<br />* Other duties as assigned.</p><p><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES - COMPANY WIDE</b></p><p>* Regularly attends work except for approved absences<br />* Attends all training as required<br />* Maintain professional, "champion" behavior<br />* Provides quality customer service<br />* Provides services with a commitment to service excellence<br />* Works in a way that exhibits a commitment to personal excellence<br />* Team oriented and values diversity</p><p><b>WORKING CONDITIONS &amp; EXPOSURE RISK</b></p><p>Operating vehicles or machinery</p><p></p><p> </p><br><br><p><b>QUALIFICATION(S): EDUCATION</b></p><p>Master's degree required</p><p><b>QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS</b></p><p>N/A</p><p><b>QUALIFICATION(S): LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION</b></p><p>* Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and must maintain that credential.<br />* Must be licensed as a Behavior Analyst (LBA) with the State of Missouri and maintain that license</p><p><b>Compass Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and an E-Verify participant.</b></p><img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/YmJnZW5lcmljLjg0Mzk0LjEyNTI0QGNvbXBhc3NobmNvbXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif">
