Ensure you have access to a valid email address</em></p> <ul> <li>Qualified applicants will receive a phone call to schedule an onsite interview</li> <li>Post Offer background check, drug screen, and physical assessment required</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Summary:</b></p> <p>Bakers are the start of the pretzel making process. You'll be responsible for running a large mixer and extruder with computer programing and hand measuring. Previous machine operating experience is a must. Large bakery experience is a plus.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b>:</p> <ul> <li>Follow all SOPs to keep consistent product quality</li> <li>Recognize the different dough textures</li> <li>Keep hoppers filled with proper amount of dough</li> <li>Properly measure the minor ingredients by performing catch samples</li> <li>Check dough temperature</li> <li>Check the flour sifter each shift</li> <li>Check all drives, cookers, salters, ovens, dryers, discharge, and proofing conveyors to ensure they are properly operating and set to correct settings</li> <li>Document cuts per minute as required</li> <li>Check and record caustic every 30 minutes record on BakerQC</li> <li>Check wet weights/length every 30 minutes record on BakerQC</li> <li>Make inventory moves in S4 Hana</li> <li>Record all ingredient lot numbers</li> <li>Keep salter full with the correct level.</li> <li>Notify leads, QA, and packers of any bad product and how long it will last</li> <li>Communicate with immediate supervisor if any problems arise</li> <li>All other duties assigned by supervisor and management</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire.</li> <li>High School diploma or GED</li> <li>One month related experience or training</li> <li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions</li> <li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b>:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a manufacturing/food manufacturing environment including the following: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF), Autonomous/Preventative Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP/LPR.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Physical Demands</b>:</p> <p>The<b> </b>physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions<b> </b>of this job.
