<strong>Associate or VP, IR and Applied Analytics - Greenwich, CT</strong><br><br>Global, emerging markets investment manager with $6B AUM is seeking an Investor Relations / Applied Analytics Associate or VP (title depends on experience) to assist its current team with all client initiatives. <br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br><br><strong>Client Reporting</strong><br><ul><li>Prepare client analytics including monthly updates, quarterly letters, and other customized collateral across various accounts and strategies</li><li>Requires an understanding of performance (time & money-weighted), MPT statistics, attribution and familiarity with accessing and digesting data from SQL, Bloomberg, eVestment, etc. </li><li>Work with technology team to automate reporting where applicable.</li></ul><br><strong>Marketing Materials</strong><br><ul><li>Assist in the preparation and maintenance of pitch-books, teasers, etc.</li><li>Construct new materials for new fund offerings</li></ul><br><strong>Prospective and Investor Information </strong><br><ul><li>Help with responses to investor questions, prepare investor analytics, diligence requests, RFP's, RFI's, DDQ's and consultant databases</li><li>CRM analytics/maintenance</li></ul><br><strong>Ad-Hoc Reporting</strong><br><ul><li>Peer-review analytics and market trends</li><li>Investment models, deal analytics, and pricing projections for senior management</li><li>GIPS compliance efforts and technology/application implementation</li></ul><br><strong>Ad hoc research projects</strong><br><ul><li>Actively participate in specific investor relations assigned projects</li><li>Liaise with other departments on broader firm projects </li></ul><br><strong>Requirements</strong><br><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to write effectively</li><li>3-5+ years of quantitative experience calculating, understanding and interpreting the following for use by sales and investment professionals:</li><li>Markets / Indices: including basic quantitative knowledge of securities (e.g. bond math)</li><li>Investment performance experience desired: statistical analysis (sharpe ratio, information ratio, standard deviation, tracking error, beta, correlation), money-weighted statistics (IRR, MoIC, etc.) and attribution analysis.</li><li>Portfolio analytics experience desired: sector/country/region/asset-type breakdowns, weighted average characteristics (yield, duration, credit quality, size) and familiarity with derivatives (used for hedging).</li><li>Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel</li><li>Not required but helpful: knowledge of marketing compliance guidelines, Bloomberg, FactSet, Tableau, SQL/VBA/Advanced Excel, SSRS, Salesforce. </li></ul><br><strong>Personal Attributes</strong><br><ul><li>Problem solver / independent thinker</li><li>Accountability / attention to detail / ability to self-check work</li><li>Creative / inventive / graphically expressive</li><li>Outstanding organization skills, including prioritization and follow-up</li><li>A proven ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Dedicated to firm goals and willing to learn, grow and work hard</li></ul><br><strong>Compensation: </strong>$150-180K base plus discretionary bonus and excellent benefits package
