What you get to do  

  • Establish team goals to meet or exceed performance metrics for shift and coordinate the department responsibilities.
  • Effectively delegate tasks and monitor team performance by working closely with Planners to execute daily workload plan and achieve the daily goals
  • Champion safety, food safety, and continuous improvement for warehouse operations
  • Develop and mentor Planners to be effective team leaders, while facilitating the learning of new skills, functions, and responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate daily, weekly, and monthly workload plans, goals, and results, as well as upcoming events, safety topics, and special assignments
  • Identify problems and find root causes to issues preventing the work from being completed. Support the strategy and goals for process improvements
  • Ensure that all records and reports regarding WMS activities are prepared accurately and completed in a timely manner. Effectively perform a variety of additional administrative functions as needed

What you bring

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalency required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or related field preferred
  • Multiple years of experience with WMS, preferably Blue Yonder
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred
