Position Summary/Overview

IQ Automation continues to expand and are offering up this new opportunity to the right individual. The Assistant Office Manager will assist the office manager by handling, ordering, and inventorying materials needed for projects and service calls. They will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate records, organizing products in our warehouse, and assisting the Office Manager and Senior Technician with project and service materials coordination. They will also help with other office duties such as scanning and filing
documents, light cleaning, purchasing office supplies, etc.

Responsibilities
  • .Work on a team to help coordinate materials for projects and service calls
  • Maintain an inventory database
  • Purchase products, track delivery dates, check them in upon arrival, track when materials go to job sites
  • Stage items for projects and service calls, update paperwork and operational software records
  • Communicate effectively with Office Manager, Senior Technician, and owners about status of items
  • Purchase materials from appropriate vendors and within project budgets
  • Keep warehouse clean and organize
  • Light office cleaning
  • Purchase office supplies as requested
Skills
  • Able to effectively work on a team
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Able to communicate well with internal and external resources in a professional manner
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Experience with Excel, Word, or similar software
  • Good time management with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
