Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager/Event Manager at Skybokx 109 Sports Bar & Grill in Natick, Massachusetts. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. As an Assistant Manager/Event Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and managing all aspects of event planning and execution.

Compensation & Benefits:

The compensation for this position is $55,000 to $60,000 per year, paid biweekly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for career growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of service and cleanliness.
- Oversee all aspects of event planning and coordination, including handling inquiries, creating proposals, and managing event logistics.
- Work closely with the marketing department to promote and advertise events, as well as develop partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
- Train and mentor staff on event procedures, customer service, and food and beverage knowledge.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Monitor and manage event budgets, including negotiating pricing with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering, and menu planning.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in scheduling and payroll management.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Proven track record in event planning and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry practices and regulations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
