Apply for tomorrow's opportunity today, with Volt!<br> <br>Volt is immediately hiring for an <b>Assembler/Soldering Tech</b> in <b>Wilsonville, OR</b> <br> <br> <b> Competitive Pay/ Market Leader/Overtime </b> <br> <br>As an<b> Assembler/Soldering Tech </b>you will:<br> <ul> <li>Position requires use of hand tools to perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.</li> <li>Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing, and fitting on assembly units.</li> <li>Most assemblies are comprised of small, delicate components that require careful handling and good eye-hand coordination, often under a microscope or other magnification device. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.</li> <li>Performs any combination of following tasks to assemble electronic components or sub-assemblies</li> <li>Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.</li> <li>Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device. Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.</li> <li>Mounts assembled components, such as resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel.</li> <li>Performs on-line go-not-go testing and inspection, using magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment, to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.</li> </ul> <br>Schedule: M to Friday 7 am to 4 pm.<br> <br>The ideal <b>Assembler/Soldering tech</b> candidate will have: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED preferred and minimum of 5 years or related experience</li> <li>Soldering skills are a must</li> <li>SMT and lead-free soldering experience needed</li> <li>Basic computer navigation skills are required</li> </ul> <br> <b>Pay Rate:</b> <b>&lt; 20.00/hr + ></b> <br> <br>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.<br> <br>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
