Job Description:Final Assembler is responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly/integration of materials, devices, and products in accordance with drawings, SOPs, and other written documentationDuties:Assembles products or sub-assemblies by following drawings, diagrams, or work instructions.Operates hand and power tools and production equipment to build specified product.He/She is responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly of systems or products as well as maintaining general tools and equipment.Prioritizes work according to verbal direction, or by following the Production Schedule and works towards customer ship dates and internal goals.Communicates with team members, engineering, sales, and other departments within the company to ensure customer requirements are met.Ability to multi-task and prioritize is a must.Demonstrates strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.Conforms with ESD policy and safety procedures.The goal for this individual is to have zero OBF's to the performance of their job function.Requires:Education: High School degree or equivalent required. Associates degree in computer hardware related field preferred.Experience: Three years of experience in hardware field. Ability to build a computer from the ground -up is helpful.Physical: Walks, stands, occasional seated position at the computer.
