Job Overview: The Project Engineer is a critical role within our client's organization, which specializes in manufacturing color, additive concentrates, and masterbatches for the plastics industry. This position is responsible for providing technical support on all engineering projects and plays a key role in conceptualizing, developing, and implementing new projects. The Project Engineer will work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, aligning with the company's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine project scope and details to achieve company objectives.
  • Provide cost and timing estimations for project implementation.
  • Coordinate and execute the design and implementation of engineering projects.
  • Offer engineering support to various departments within the organization.
  • Maintain and manage facility and engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Requirements include:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing or Industrial disciplines. Consideration will be given to candidates with practical experience and demonstrated performance in a prior technical role.
Experience:
  • 2-4 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of polymers and polymer processing is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and CAD software.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Thorough knowledge in root cause analysis, supported by advanced knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics.
  • Familiarity with measurement systems is preferred.

Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles related to manufacturing processes, especially in the plastics industry.
