This position requires management resources in adherence with all company standards, policies and procedures, as well as compliance with all federal and state regulations, including OSHA, TCEQ etc. <br /> <br /><strong> DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES </strong><br /> <ul><li> Follow safety rules, regulations and procedures set forth by MSHA/OSHA and Alleyton policies. </li> <li> Safely perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections, complete daily equipment reports/plant inspections and report unsafe equipment/conditions to supervisor or foreman. </li> <li> Demonstrate the ability to safely and productively operate equipment at all times as assigned. </li> <li> Must be able or willing to learn to operate other mobile equipment, including: haul truck, motor grader, water truck and loader. </li> <li> Maintain good housekeeping practices on plant and equipment using water hoses and shovels. </li> <li> Assist maintenance personnel with plant repairs when needed. Perform preventative maintenance. </li> <li> Cross train on other positions in the plant in order to serve as a relief to other operators. </li> <li> Demonstrates a positive, upbeat attitude and energy level and works as a team player. </li> <li> Assist with upkeep and greasing all bearings in the plant. </li> <li> Performs other related duties as may be assigned. </li> </ul> <br /><strong> MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS </strong><br /> <br /> To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disability to perform the essential functions. <br /> <br /><strong> Education and/or Experience </strong> : High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Prior experience in safe operation of heavy mobile equipment or in the aggregates industry preferred. General maintenance abilities are required. Proficient knowledge of MSHA/OSHA safety requirements. <br /> <br /><strong> Computer Skills: </strong> Experience with Microsoft Office products and some ability to adapt to other computer software. <br /> <br /><strong> OTHER REQUIREMENTS </strong><br /> <ul><li> Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary. </li> <li> This position will be considered for night shift roles if they become available.
