We are seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our Hospitalist team. The APN will be responsible for patient assessments, diagnostic testing, ordering and interpreting laboratory results, and developing and implementing treatment plans. In addition, the APN will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and quality care for patients. This position requires a Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and current licensure as an NP. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnostic testing, and interpret laboratory results
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and coding for billing purposes
- Assist in the mentoring of new staff and physician assistant students
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current licensure as an NP
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
