AMHC is actively looking to fill a Part Time positions for Adult Crisis Counselors at the 24-hour Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit in Calais. We are a fast-paced, cutting-edge program employing short-term intervention toward stabilization in a recovery-oriented manner. This candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and work evenings and weekends as needed.
- MHRT-CSP certification is required to carry out the assigned responsibilities of the position
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Offer Compassionate support during referrals, admissions, continuing care, and discharge of adults at the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit.
- Provide Respectful , rapid, and effective assessment, support, and hospitalization when necessary
- Provide Service focused connection to community resources, crisis prevention planning, and case coordination of services Collaboratively with Clients.
- Complete progress notes, treatment plans, and required documentation with Excellence for each individual served.
- Maintain the Integrity of AMHC by providing regular and predictable attendance, or being available for unplanned overtime as necessary, to meet program needs.
- This is a Per Diem position available
