POSITION SUMMARY:

Manage and oversee daily Operation of the Branch including personnel, equipment, and facilities. Responsible for working with division management to ensure services are provided on schedule and in the safest, highest quality, most productive and cost-effective manner possible.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage field execution personnel. Dispatch personnel and equipment. Staff projects with the necessary number of personnel, utilize crew members with appropriate work experience for each project and ensure continuity of performance through the completion of each project taking into consideration resource requirements of other projects.
  2. In conjunction with designated administrator, track and schedule employees for training, background, drug testing as required by Evergreen and for upcoming projects to ensure access needs are fulfilled for each facility at the time of each scheduled project. This includes submission of any required documentation for access to each facility in a timely manner as to not delay entry for project execution.
  3. Regularly communicate each day with the Account Manager / Project Manager / Division Manager to ensure expectations are being met, quality is acceptable and to resolve any conflicts or potential conflicts concerning safety, schedule, execution, personnel, or equipment resource availability.
  4. Ensure all field personnel are meeting the requirements of their position, identify strengths and weaknesses and evaluate areas for improvement. Key areas outlined below:

  5. Initiate and be party to any performance reviews, disciplinary write-ups as required for all field personnel. Ensure the disciplinary process is administered in a fair and equitable manner addressing issues concerning safety, performance, attendance, or other conduct issues.
  6. Procure quotes from vendors and request Purchase Orders from Accounts Payable administrator per standard procedure based on project load list. In the process of, evaluate cost of goods, services to ensure pricing is competitive and quality is acceptable / consistent.
  7. Maintain rental log of all rental equipment including details such as: Date rented, Date off-rented, vendor, customer location of rental, WO# for project, rental item details - item description / size / quantity. Ensure all rental equipment is returned in a timely manner, immediately post-project completion. Coordinate with rental vendors to ensure equipment is off rented in their billing systems.
  8. Minimize the use of rental equipment as a mechanism to reduce cost wherever possible using division resources or other shared company resources from other locations.
  9. Monitor and maintain laydown yard area focusing on organization, cleanliness. Identify areas for improvement for discussion with Division Manager.
  10. Regulate shop hours, OT hours and distribution of hours to field personnel to ensure fair and equitable distribution of hours. Discuss focus areas for shop time weekly with Division Manager prior to assigning unbillable shop hours.
  11. Review, revise shop tickets daily for consistency, accuracy and submit to payroll weekly.
  12. Track loaned or borrowed equipment and personnel, actively working to assist other branches with employee resource and equipment needs during periods of reduced workload.
  13. Monitor and maintain division equipment including pick-up trucks, pumps, circulators, heat exchangers, filter pots, trailers, etc. Repairs will need to be coordinated with internal repair resources and outside repair facilities.
  14. Monitor and maintain pressure testing required for owned hoses, piping, fittings per company policy and/or customer project requirements.
  15. Coordinate with Division mechanic to track and document preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles (90 days and annual inspections).
  16. Actively participate in safety meetings and drive safety topics and objectives discussed with field personnel.

17. Monitor and track chemical inventory and submit month end chemical inventory form each month.

18. Issue and maintain employee PPE storage lockers.

19. Issue uniforms and PPE to employees.

Requirements

1. 5 years of experience in related field.

2. Skilled and qualified in primary service line.

3. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

4. Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize.

5. Basic math skill.

6. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.

7. Experience with Outlook 365, Microsoft Excel, Adobe

QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational: High school diploma or equivalent strongly desired. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Work Experience: 5 years of experience in related field.
