(AFM) as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant responsible for providing crucial administrative support to our forestry personnel in a client-focused forest management business. Reporting directly to the district manager, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining operational efficiency.

AFM’s team of professionals is focused on meeting client needs by providing a complete range of forestry services including land and wildlife management, land sale and acquisition services, forest inventory and design, growth and yield modeling, cash flow projections, environmental services, appraisal, forest resource data management and harvest scheduling.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Generate service contracts for harvesting operations and road word using standardized forms and information provided by foresters.
  • Input service contract data accurately into our forest management and accounting system.
  • Code and enter accounts payable data into specialized forest accounting software.
  • Manager incoming phone calls, providing information or redirecting them as necessary.
  • Handle daily mail collection from the post office, sort incoming mail, and assisting with outgoing mail, faxed and shipments.
  • Operate office machinery proficiently for data input and retrieval, organizing maintenance when required.
  • Compose and type routine correspondence, dispatching vial mail, email, or fax.
  • Undertake addition related duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred: Associates Degree.
  • Office experience involving varies computer software and evidence of effectively managing detailed data tasks.
  • Adaptability to learn and proficiently use forest accounting systems.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Familiarity with office procedures and equipment.
  • Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality with both customer and internal information.
  • Ability to foster strong team relationships with managers, colleagues, clients, vendors and customers.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
  • Strong ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Soft Skills: communication, organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, adaptability, problem-solving, tech savviness, collaboration and professionalism.

Salary and Benefits:
