You would be tasked with providing patient-centered care and ensuring the efficient and proper delivery of various healthcare services. The base pay range for this position is $65 to $78 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. Responsibilities:
- Administering compassionate patient-centered care
- Monitoring patients’ vital signs
- Diagnosing the causes of sudden changes in patient condition and giving urgent treatments when required
- Carrying out treatment plans by administering medication
- Assessing diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (EKGs) and radiographs (X-rays) and performing them in some circumstances
- Delivering emergency medical care, such as cardiac life support, when patients are in crisis
- Updating patients' health information to ensure accurate record keeping
- Working with Physicians and other members of the care team to revise treatment plans when needed
Qualifications:
- NYS Registered Nurse license
- Associates degree or higher in nursing
- At least 1 year nursing experience in an acute care setting
