Summary:
Supports the business and the AP team by providing leadership and managing a variety of specialized services within Accounts Payable. This individual will ensure accurate and timely invoice posting, accounting, and payment processing.

Location: Bergey’s Truck Centers- Carlisle, PA

Pay: $55000- $75000 based on experience

Essential Duties:

Leads the team to manage the posting, matching, payment, and scanning of invoices per department guidelines
Manages special requests and complex exceptions in accordance with company policy
Leads the team in complex assignments or projects
Responds to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Leads month-end closing activities
Participates in or manages assigned special projects
Builds relationships across the business to ensure transparency, training, and adherence to company policies and practices
Ensures proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records in case of audits.
Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, with one year of experience in an accounting office; OR three or four years of accounting experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Valid Driver's License
Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
