Accountant

Jasper Products, LLC is an industry leading manufacturer of extended shelf life and aseptically packaged food and beverage products with a state-of-the-art production facility in Joplin, MO.

The successful candidate will be assigned various general accounting responsibilities including: preparation and posting of journal entries, account analysis and reconciliation, monthly financial statement preparation, management and governmental agency reporting, audit schedule preparation and special projects.

The successful candidate must be proficient at data entry, highly detail oriented, analytical, accurate, confidential, and experienced with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access). The ability to interact effectively with a variety of departments, strong communication skills and work ethic, effective problem-solving skills and the ability to perform in a process oriented and team centered environment are essential. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least two years’ experience in the accounting field required.
