Target Base salary up to 90k plus 10% AIP.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for providing expert accounting support with a strong emphasis on analytical review and financial analysis. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial statements and reports for the US business segment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of US GAAP, an analytical mindset, and a business-oriented approach to enhance accounting operations, systems, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed financial analysis to support accounting journal entries, including variance analysis and trend analysis.

Complete monthly account reconciliations ensuring accuracy and completeness of assigned accounts.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in underlying data through detailed analytical review and investigation.

Participate in quarterly balance sheet reviews to identify financial risks and opportunities.

Perform key SOX controls and processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as assigned.

Interact directly with External Auditors and fulfill Prepared by Client (PBC) requests.

Develop a deep understanding of revenue recognition with a focus on subscriptions, multi-year deals, and gross versus net accounting.

Participate in various strategic projects, including system enhancements, reporting conversions, and the implementation of new accounting guidance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on financial analysis and analytical review.

In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and internal control requirements.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with modeling and analysis tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $70,800.00 - $113,300.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
