Key Tasks:

  • Month End Closings
  • Year End Audits
  • Journal Entries
  • Reconciliations
  • Financial Statement Review
  • Ad Hoc Reporting and Analytics
  • Department Projects

Responsibilities include:

  • Every month end there will be deadline driven activities including journal entries, financial statement reviews, closing process review & reconciliations
  • Assisting Year End audits including required schedules, inventory cycle count & physical inventory counts, tax schedules and supporting document requests
  • Creating ad hoc reports and assisting with analytical projects on a need basis

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Working knowledge of the following areas: Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial information systems.
  • Manufacturing or Distribution industry experience a plus
  • Excellent organizational & analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a changing environment
  • Advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services & Power BI a plus
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and abilities to create & maintain a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to review & analyze current processes for potential improvements
  • Timeliness in completing assignments with deadlines and due dates
  • Strong integrity and ethics
  • Regular and predictable attendance required
