Job Summary

The Comcast Business Product Manager owns the product lifecycle for the learning assets within the specified portfolio. From introduction, to growth, to maturity, and through decline/retirement of assets, Product Managers employ data intelligence, market research, subject matter expertise, business collaboration, product experimentation, and agile iteration to maintain the most effective and valuable products possible. Collaborating seamlessly in a highly matrixed organization, Product Managers assist in the build of new products and the continual refinement of existing assets to meet the changing needs of the business and Company strategy. Product Managers understand business and customer needs, build and maintain product and project roadmaps, manage complex projects through creation of agile plans, and collaborate cross-functionally to bring personalized, relevant, valuable learning to the Comcast employees who need them. Through research and testing, Product Managers anticipate employee development challenges and recommend new learning product creation, or refinements to existing assets to satisfy those challenges. They thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and are not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. Above all, Product Managers lead with curiosity and passion for learning and the achievement of team and customer success. Success in this role is predicated on a candidate’s ability to fully understand the impact product management has on the achievement of real employee development and adopting and practicing core skills required of sound product ownership. RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRODUCT LEADERSHIP

Market Intelligence: Understands and applies market intelligence to maintain and improve product relevance and impact. Industry-Specific Knowledge: Monitors industry intel (e.g.publications, professional associations, etc.) to remain informed, and takes appropriate action to ensure alignment is maintained. Market Assessment: Monitors a variety of sources (e.g.employee engagement surveys, key performance metrics, focus group outputs, product feedback, etc.) to maintain alignment with current and emerging organizational needs. Stakeholder Insights: Takes cues from business and employee trends based on data and insights to anticipate the impact on product stakeholder needs, preferences, positioning and messaging. Product Roadmap: Sets and adopts long-term strategy that translates goals and objectives into tangible results. Product Planning: Aligns product(s) with Comcast’s current goals, future strategy, and clearly defines value proposition. Product Management: Provides integrated management of multiple products by monitoring and forecasting supply and demand to maintain differentiation and mitigate product obsolescence throughout its lifecycle. Minimum Viable Product: Leverages market research and insights to negotiate costs, build and time to market in the alignment with minimum viable product. Product Conception/Curation: Identifies and incubates new product opportunities from initial design to establishing a strong business case for investment. Design: Rapidly evaluates the business viability of product design ideas by setting minimum parameters and iterating prototypes to further refine the user experience. Establishes and manages project plans according to product design. Value Proposition: Leverages understanding of value creation process and technology capabilities to identify differentiated value propositions and tests them against consumer needs. Business Case: Combines knowledge of the industry, business needs andemployeepreferences to rapidly develop business cases and assess the viability ofproducts.

Minimumqualifications

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years equivalent industry work experience Prior experiencecollaborating witha diverse, geographically dispersed team, andademonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams andstakeholders Demonstrated ability to define, influence, refine, and implement processes, procedures, andpolicies Practical application of instructional design, change management, and organization designprinciples Experience designing, developing, and delivering instructional materials, with demonstrated knowledge of digital learning tools andplatforms Systems thinker, with the ability to bring together people and teams from across the organization to collaboratively create holistic productexperiences Proven ability to manage ambiguous projects, identify and solve blockers, and know when to escalate to keep the project movingforward Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects, and a proven track record of managing multi-faceted projects with the ability to drive throughcompletion Strong application of Agile project management and driving innovative thinking through Design Thinking processes Excellent communication skills Strong knowledge of Comcast Business products and systems highly desired

Salary:

National Pay Range: $65,557.91 USD-$153,651.35 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
