**Job Description: Yard Truck Driver (Goat truck driver)**

**Location: Babylon NY**

**Night shift 7pm-7am Four days on four days off**

**Denali Water Solutions** is currently looking for a yard truck (goat) driver, who is willing to work outside moving containers and overseeing sludge loading process. We can get you working right away! Openings on all shifts. Come be a part of our growing team.

**Yard Duties:**

Able to operate a yard goat/ yard mule intended to move trailers within confined area.

Moving trailers from staging area to loading area - switching out empty trailers with full trailers.

Tarp and un-tarp containers.

Monitor container loading to ensure all loads are full.

Must have strong communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and complete manifests.

* Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.

* Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.

**Driver Qualifications:**

* 2 years of experience yard hustling, prefer Class A or B CDL

* Driver must be able to achieve efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.

* Maintain yard by performing daily inspections and organization.

* Spotting Trailers for Shipping & Receiving

* Daily Yard Checks

**Position Qualifications** **Experience:**

* 2-4 years related experience

* High School Diploma or GED

* Must submit to a drug screen.

* Pass physical capability (if applicable)

* Pass the background check.

**Pay:**

* Pay is hourly based on experience. We pay time and a half for hours worked over 40.
