The Springs Resort & Spa is looking for a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, from menu creation to staff management, while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation. This is a leadership role for someone with a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to driving guest satisfaction through innovative and beautifully crafted dishes.

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and culinary staff management.
  • Create innovative and seasonal menus that align with the resort's commitment to high-quality, locally-sourced, and sustainable ingredients.
  • Supervise and lead the culinary team, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure excellence.
  • Manage food inventory, purchasing, and cost controls to ensure budget adherence while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining the kitchen and food storage areas to the highest cleanliness standards.
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan special events, banquets, and seasonal promotions, tailoring menus to guest preferences.
  • Monitor food preparation and cooking techniques, ensuring consistency, flavor, and presentation are in line with resort standards.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless guest experience, from kitchen to table.
  • Continuously research and stay informed about culinary trends, new ingredients, and industry best practices to enhance guest offerings.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss kitchen operations, guest feedback, and improvement opportunities.
What Sets You Apart:

Education/Formal Training:
  • Culinary degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • Proven experience managing a high-volume kitchen and leading a diverse culinary team.
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Strong culinary skills with an extensive knowledge of diverse cooking techniques, international cuisines, and food safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, train, and develop culinary staff.
  • Proficiency in kitchen management software and inventory control systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Must be able to travel to The Springs Resort & Spa.


Salary Description

$90,000 - $95,000
