Job Description
The Dining Services Supervisor provides daily direction to the dietary aid and utility staff including daily task assignments, meal service delivery and pick up, and resident unit supply replenishment. They are also responsible for patient meal set up, including reviewing patients' dietary orders for accuracy and diet compliance. Shift hours would be from 7am to 3:30-4pm 5 days a week with rotating weekends.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepares and maintains serving lines including dishes, silverware, hot and cold food items, etc.
  • Assist in serving meals on a timely basis
  • Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
  • Assembles patient trays in accordance to established standards meeting dietary requirements.
  • Assembles patient trays with appropriate speed, accuracy and appearance.
  • Supervises dietary servers.
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation practices within the dining areas to include systems for accurate documentation of cleaning assignments and monitoring of food handling practices to ensure compliance to state and local regulations as well as departmental policies.
Qualifications
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Microsoft Office products and on-line client management systems preferred.
  • ServSafe Certified Preferred or willingness to obtain with first 90 days.
  • Previous dining services leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of various diets.

Hourly Wage: $19 - $22 per hour
