Job Responsibilities

2 Vacancies

These positions are located at Department of Mental Health/Columbia Area Mental Health Center, Midlands Crisis Stabilization Center (MCSC), located at 610 Faison Drive, Columbia, SC, 29203, CAMHC #380 and 388.

Under limited supervision, provides basic care for patients, follows policy on meeting patients' basic needs. Complies with all SCDMH/CAMHC policies and protocols, applicable Quality Assurance, Corporate Compliance, Cultural Competence, and CARF policies/procedures/guidelines and regulations. Compliance with all Federal and State laws.

Provides direct services to adults in an efficient manner, participate in maintaining a clean and therapeutic environment by being productively occupied at all times and meeting the needs of the patients.

Provides client centered services as identified on the client Plan of Care (POC). Reports patient issues and/or concerns to clinical supervisor.

Demonstrates recognition of importance of collaboration and teamwork within the Mental Health Center and community; attend all trainings classified mandatory by Federal and State regulations and Center policy.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

State Requirements: A high school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

CAMHC Prefers: Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Certification.
