KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and build relationships with business prospects and current fleet and commercial customers through regular contact
- Market commercial vehicles through electronic advertising, print advertisement and face-to-face contacts
- Position self as a consultant for a business customer over multiple contacts
- Connect with decision-makers within the business environment
- Write vehicle specifications and proposals
- Calculate the cost of products and services
- Work with sublet suppliers to accurately spec commercial vehicles to fit needs
- Submit bids for contract and municipal bid opportunities
- Inspect vehicles prior to delivery
- Build relationships and referral business after the sale
- Establish goals and set plan to meet goals
- Must read and understand technical material
- Have a thorough understanding of the organization's products and services
- Have a thorough understanding of the organization's inventory
- Must possess a professional, outgoing demeanor with good grammar and communication skills
- Must be goal oriented and able to meet established goal
- Possess a valid IL driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
