- Assess each situation to determine the best course of action using progressive EMT protocols
- Utilize EMT skills to provide advanced medical care using various medical equipment and procedures
- Effectively communicate with patients and their families to provide information and assurance
- Act as a team leader when necessary, taking responsibility for scene and unit management
- Participate in community programs to maintain a positive public image and establish strong relations
We require a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), a state EMT license, state driver's license, ambulance driver's license, and completion of various medical courses such as BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS. A clean driving record and the ability to pass a physical agility test are also necessary. Previous work experience in healthcare is preferred.
This position offers a competitive pay range of $35.04 - $53.95 per hour for a 12-hour shift and is sign-on bonus eligible. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and offer comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401k, and paid time off.
