Description
We are seeking a Per Diem Surgical Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing high quality, efficient patient care. As a Certified Surgical Tech, you will assist with safe and effective nursing care in the operating room, including direct patient care, scrubbing and assisting the surgeon, surgical room turnover, and collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrate necessary practical, technical, or specialized skills required for the role of the surgical technician
- Assist in preparing the operative suite for surgery and maintaining surgical asepsis
- Turnover the operating room suites between cases and prepare procedure room for use the following day
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Surgical Tech Certification
- One year experience in an operating room setting
- Valid BCLS Certification upon employment
