Lecturer appointments are non-tenure track but promotable. The teaching load for this position is 12 credit hours per semester (4/4). Additional teaching opportunities occur during summer sessions. This is a full-time benefits-eligible position. Other duties include departmental service and maintaining professional qualifications in accordance with the College of Business Guidelines for Faculty Qualifications.Qualifications:Required: Master's degree in accounting or business from an AACSB-accredited institution. Significant and substantive professional work experience within the past five years relevant to the position or currently qualified as an instructional or scholarly practitioner at an AACSB institution. Preferred: Certified Public Accountant. Experience in or demonstrated potential for developing and teaching courses in spreadsheet skills or data analysis for accountants.
